I love the Manhunter games and actually was able to play thru them the other day for the first time in years thanks to finding a download site that had both of them available.  I forgot how much fun (and how tough) each of them were and would REALLY love to see Sierra give us MH3: London or at least see a dedicated fan give us a good game.  I mean cmon after how many years Blizzard is FINALLY giving us Diablo 3 its time Sierra does the same!!!!!!

Great Site! Extremely extensive! Manhunter 1 + 2 were probably my favorite Sierra games, just because they were so weird and unique. Seeing this site reminds me of when I would go to the bargain bin of a department store and find great old adventure game classics for 5 bucks. I remember going to New York and actually using the Manhunter Map to find my way around the city- it was really useful in Central Park. Of course, there was no Orb Monument or anything, but it really is a pretty authentic map, and about the coolest fake map to New York you'll find.

I really love those screenshots for Fan-Made Manhunter- they're terrific! Finishing a project like that must be daunting, but I wish whoever's working on it the best of luck. I had my own ideas for a good sequel to Manhunter in my youth, but alas those days are gone... I hope someone is able to make one some day, though, and give it that real authentic Manhunter feel.

Ciao!

This was such a memorable game but also so frustrating! I remember being stuck in the Central Park landmine puzzle for ages and having to control the cursor with the keyboard and not the mouse was irritating. However the atmosphere and story they painted was compelling!

Hi, this is a great site for a great game! I'd like to point out an interperter that might run the MH games smoothly as well, besides DosBox:

Thanks

The Manhunter games - but especially New York - hold a special place in my heart. I was 7 when M: NY was released and the creepy atmosphere sucked me in until I, my brother and his best friend, who all huddled around the PC every day to play it together, became obsessed. I've tried to imagine remakes or sequels using modern technology over the years. The orbs would be sick. Sierra should knock their heads together and realise they're sitting on a hot intellectual property there.

Manhunter was a fantastic game, I truly hope we'll see a remake of them (or *GASP* manhunter 3!) soon!

I played these games when they first came out. I still have a 486 I use to play dos games on and just reloaded these and was playing them with my son today. When he first heard the beeps coming out of the built in speaker he was wondering what it was. I told him thats how computer sound used to sound. He couldn't believe it lol. So far we played up until you come out of the sewers and get to coney island.

Every now and then I Google some of these great classic adventures games I always used to play. Manhunter I and II was among those. It's always great to come along websites like this one, lots of nostalgia. Keep up the good work here.
